Fit 2 Last Privacy Policy

The short version

Fit 2 Last is privacy-first and stores core app data on your device. We do not sell personal data, run advertising SDKs, or use analytics trackers. Optional cloud/sync and product-label submission features only send data when you configure or choose them.

What the app stores on your device

Your profile, including diet preferences, allergen selections, goals, and optional body metrics.
Your scan history, grocery list, do-not-buy list, and local product cache.
Product correction or label submissions you queue.
Notification preferences and optional health-integration status.
Subscription entitlement status if you purchase or restore a paid plan.

This data is saved with the operating system's app storage on your phone. Deleting the app or using Profile → Data & Privacy → Delete All Data removes local data.

Network requests

When you scan or look up a barcode, the app may query public product databases such as Open Food Facts, Open Beauty Facts, Open Products Facts, UPCItemDB, and fallback lookup services. These requests include the barcode or search text and standard network metadata. Your profile is not sent to those public lookup services.

If you choose to submit a product correction or label, the app may send the barcode, brand/product name, ingredient text, nutrition fields, and scan analysis summary to the configured Fit 2 Last backend for moderation. Do not submit private notes or personal medical information in product labels.

If subscriptions are enabled, Fit 2 Last may use RevenueCat, Apple in-app purchase, and Google Play Billing to load offers, process purchases, restore purchases, and confirm Plus or Pro entitlement status. Payment details are handled by Apple or Google, not by Fit 2 Last.

Permissions

Camera: used to scan barcodes and optionally capture brand or ingredient labels.
Notifications: used for optional morning facts, reminders, grocery alerts, and recall alerts.
Apple Health / Health Connect: used only if you connect a health provider and approve requested data types in the operating system permission screen.
Network access: used for product lookup, fallback search, recall checks, water-quality checks, and support resources.

Sharing

If you use the Share feature, the content you choose is passed to the app you select through your device's share sheet. Nothing is shared automatically.

Children

Fit 2 Last is not directed at children under 13.
